This is my first official illustrator project without help. In this project, we used the pen tool and multiple shape tools to create a hippo. in order to add contrast, you will have to set some parts of the hippo to the background to make it look more realistic. We used the oval and rectangle tool to create the entire body of the hippo. We used the pen tool to draw the hippos arms free handed.  Using this tool  took us back to when we learned how to create different movements using the pen tool like bends and loops. We then added stroke to make the hippo and the sign have a border. We used the type tool to create the message on the sign.
